Candied home-made cake for

Ingredients:
- orange, lemon, lime or to taste
pumpkin - 200 g sugar
Cut the fruit, as needed, into pieces, slices, peeled citrus fruit or trying to get large pieces of skin to be cut into strips.
Blanch the slices for 4-5 minutes in boiling water, renewing it each time to remove the bitter repeat 3 times, for the cedar at least 5 times.
Drain and plunge the citrus fruit in a syrup made with 200 g of sugar, a pinch of salt and 150 g of water, boiled for 5 minutes, and let them simmer slowly until it is shiny and candied.
Remove the pieces of fruit and dry them for a whole day on a parchment paper, preferably on a rack. Then cut the candy into small cubes, if necessrio, and dip in granulated sugar.
Tips: can be kept in a jar and give.
